Abstract
SUMMARY: Progesterone determinations were carried out in twenty-eight samples of uterine venous blood collected from women between the 9th and 22nd weeks of pregnancy. The mean progesterone concentration was 35·4 μg./100 ml. plasma (range 8–97), which is ten times as high as the concentration in the peripheral blood. Keywords
