Abstract
Presentation of CaseA twenty-four-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of fever.He had been well until five weeks previously, when coryza, cough, inflammation of the throat and enlargement of cervical lymph nodes developed, with a rise in the temperature to 103°F. Penicillin and a cough medication were prescribed. During the next week he lost his taste for cigarettes and food, noticed that his urine was unusually dark, experienced fatigue and stiffness in the muscles and joints and vomited on several occasions.
