Assessment of Aging and Actinic Damages by Cyanoacrylate Skin Surface Strippings

Abstract
Cyanoacrylate skin surface stripping is a simple noninvasive approach that is useful in the evaluation of a number of changes affecting the skin during aging and chronic sun exposure. The procedure has proved to be especially valuable in the diagnosis of some inflammatory, xerotic, neoplastic, and dermal atrophic changes. It can also be used to monitor therapy. The technique of computerized image analysis is also conveniently applied to such material.
