Some Early Jet Flap Experiments

Abstract
Summary: The “second stage” two-dimensional jet flap experiments are briefly described and some of the results presented with comments. The relative simplicity of these experiments and the measure of their agreement with the theory provides, it is hoped, yet another illustration of the value of comparatively simple experiments in the early stages of work on a novel idea.
