Abstract
We have studied the effects of a weak electrostatic turbulence parallel to magnetic field lines on trapped particle motions in toroidal plasmas. We discuss possibilities of scattering of the trapped particles into the untrapped region of velocity space in the presence of ion sound turbulence. Keywords
