Abstract
The electronic stopping cross sections for Li projectiles with an energy between 200 and 840 keV have been measured in 49 liquid organic substances, belonging mostly to the basic hydrocarbon and alcohol series. They have been obtained with the inverted Doppler-shift attenuation method. The relative error of the data is in most cases less than 1%. The various sources of error are discussed in detail in order to determine the final reliability of the values. Keywords
