Abstract
Visual feedback for teleoperation ranges from simple video to pure model-based graphics (virtual environments). An optimal approach may be a hybrid of the two, designed to meet task requirements. A set of requirements for operator graphics aids to be used in space teleoperation tasks and a number of working concepts to be tested in the Goddard Space Flight Center robotics laboratory have been developed. A description is presented of the problem domain, the generated graphics aid requirements, and the concepts. Keywords
