Abstract

It is shown that all meson-baryon and meson-meson

σ

terms which can be extracted from experiment can be reconciled with the (3, ¯3) chiral-symmetry-breaking scheme,

H^{'} = u_{0} + {cu}_{8}

, provided that

c

assumes the value

c \sim - 1.0

.
