Abstract
This study investigated how well the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities correlated with teachers' ratings of children's academic achievement. The McCarthy Scales are useful in predicting school achievement of normal children, but more research is needed with learning disabled students. The use of teachers' rating scales with children of low functioning was discussed in light of the recent Larry P. decision. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
