Abstract
Commercially useful aromatic urea herbicides were synthesized in good yields from lithium amides of aromatic amines with thiocarbamates, which were prepared by the selenium-assisted carbonylation of secondary amines with carbon monoxide and sulfur under mild conditions.Keywords
