Abstract
The relative biological effectiveness (RBE) values of fission and 14 MeV neutrons relative to [gamma]-rays in Arabidopsis were studied under specific locus method, using F2 seeds from the cross between the single recessive hairless mutant and the wild hairy strain. The difference in RBE between 14 MeV neutrons and fission neutrons was rather small for the somatic mutation studied; it was about 15 and 16 for MeV and fission neutrons, respectively, at 1% mutation frequency. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
