Abstract
We demonstrate eight-channel wavelength-division-multiplexed transmission at channel rates of both 20 Gb/s (315 km) and 10 Gb/s (480 km) using chirped fiber gratings with bandwidth of 6.5 mm for dispersion compensation of each 80-km conventional fiber span. Keywords
