Abstract
The author describes the use of the laser in acupuncture and lists its advantages and limits. He describes the detailed experiments carried out to establish the therapeutic value, effect, and safety of the laser for patient and physician. The laser devices were tested clinically, technically, and experimentally (animal experiments, histologically examining the laser effect). Exhaustive technical data are presented. The depth of penetration of the laser beam is discussed in detail, as well as practical application and special forms of laser-acupuncture therapy. Laser stimulation therapy is compared to classical acupuncture. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
