Abstract
CW operation of regrown-lens-train (RLT) unstable resonator semiconductor lasers has been demonstrated in an improved laser design. Up to 1.5 W of coherent CW power was obtained with a beam divergence 4 times that of a perfectly dittraction limited device. Keywords
