Abstract
In order to study the effect of permanent section of preganglionic fibres, gastric analyses were performed on 3 cats which had had the entire sympathetic chains removed for a period of 2 mos.-3i yrs. To study the effect of permanent section of postganglionic fibres gastric analyses were performed on 3 cats which had had the celiac ganglia removed for a period of 9 days-5 mos. In neither group was there demonstrable change in free or combined gastric acidity. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
