Abstract
Bedside aids are helpful in determining the origin of human heart murmurs, deciding whether a murmur is pathologic and making decisions regarding the need for further cardiac diagnostic evaluation. These bedside aids include respiration, postural changes, sustained hand grip, changes in cycle, length, Valsalva maneuver, vasoactive drugs, amyl nitrite and phenylephrine hydrochloride. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
