Abstract
Using an autopsy method of examination, an incidence of infection withToxocara canisin 250 dogs was 6·4% and withToxascaris leoninait was 2%. Of 100 cats examined, 8% harbouredToxocara catiand 3%Toxascaris leonina. Other British records concerning the incidence of the dog parasites are discussed and attention is drawn to certain reservations that must be placed on their acceptance.Keywords
