Abstract
A sample of was prepared by intensive alpha bombardment of . The alpha spectrum was studied by use of silicon surface barrier detectors having a resolution of 18 keV at 6.7-MeV alpha energy. The alpha energies and intensities found for the transitions were: 6.753 MeV, 77.9±0.2%; 6.714±0.0007 MeV, 21.9±0.2%; 6.621±0.001 MeV, 0.18±0.02%; and 6.465±0.003 MeV, undetermined intensity. The energies can be fitted by the expression and the relative intensities by , where the are the reciprocals for the hindrance factors of the various waves.
