Pionic transitions of baryons in the MIT bag model

Abstract
Pionic transitions of baryons are studied in the framework of the MIT bag model. Correspondence is found between this approach and the Melosh analysis. The bag-model predictions are shown to be in qualitative agreement with experiment.Keywords
