Abstract
Previous analytic procedures for dental amalgam alloys were simplified and improved in accuracy. Qualitative analysis was conducted by X-ray spectroscopy. Hg was determined quantitatively by weight loss in flowing argon distillation; Sn by gravimetric SnO2 and Ag as AgCl; Cu by weight gain on electrolysis; and Zn by gravimetric determination as ZnO.Keywords
