Abstract
Nonconjugative plasmids can be transferred from an Hfr donor to a recipient by Hfr-mediated conduction. We found that this phenomenon can be employed to obtain a plasmid in which a mutation in a chromosomal gene has been transferred to the copy of that gene contained in the hybrid plasmid. This publication has 30 references indexed in Scilit:
