N-Substituted aziridines are formed by Fe- or Mn-Porphyrin catalysed reactions of PhlNR compounds (R = tosyl or COCF7) with alkenes; the stereochemical characteristics of these reactions are very different from those of the analogous epoxidation of the alkenes by PhlO.Keywords
