Abstract
The minimal ovulating dose was determined on [7-8] rabbits hypophysectomized in heat. The results indicate that the animal''s own hypophysis did not enter directly into act of ovulation. The corpora lutea formed in hypophysectomized rabbits are slightly functional but not equal to controls as indicated by uterus changes. Prolan was relatively ineffective in stimulating follicles of hypophysectomized rabbits in contrast to the hypophyseal extract. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
