Development of a 750GHz Solid State Source

Abstract

The selection of an appropriate multiplier configuration and diode mount for a submillimetre solid state source are discussed. Initial results are presented for the second stage of the multiplier which suggest that the specifications of 50 μW at 750GHz can be achieved.
