Abstract
The Hamiltonian of a magnetopolaron in a slab of a polar crystal, including bulk longitudinal optical phonons and surface optical phonons as well as the influence of the image potential, is derived. The relations between its ground and excited energies and the magnetic field and thickness of the slab are studied. Keywords
