Abstract
To report an unusual neurologic complication associated with greenstick fractures of the forearm. Near-complete transection of the median nerve associated with greenstick fractures of the shaft of the left radius and ulna in a 13-year-old boy is described. The results of treatment are reported in detail. Significant median nerve injury may coexist with apparently benign, closed greenstick fractures of the forearm. Keywords
