Abstract
Wir müssen, um zu einer sicheren Diagnose zu kommen, alle diagnostischen Methoden der Untersuchung anwenden, die uns zu Gebote stehen, müssen aber auch die etwaigen Fehlerquellen der Methoden kennen, um keine Trugschlüsse zu machen. Beide Methoden [i. e., x-ray and transillumination] werden zu Recht bestehen und sich einander ergänzen. (In order to reach a correct diagnosis we must employ all diagnostic methods of examination, which are at our command; however, we must also know the possible sources of error in these methods, so as not to make erroneous conclusions.
