Abstract
A statistical model for analyzing measured impulse responses of channels that may be used in over-the-air HDTV transmissions is discussed. Measurements made on propagation paths approximating those to be expected in the over-the-air HDTV service show that multipath is nearly always present. Under most conditions, however, the total strength in the extra signals is small and a good digital system might well be blind to them. >Keywords
