Abstract
Over periods ranging from mos. to 12 yrs. 107 cases of neuromuscular disorder were treated with wheat germ oil or its concentrate; 13 showed improvement. All 3 cases of dermatomyositis improved as did 3 of 5 cases of menopausal muscular dystrophy. Progressive muscular dystrophy was arrested in 5 of 25 cases. The cases amenable to improvement were those likely to react similarlyto adrenal corticoid therapy. Keywords
