$Q^{2}$ -dependent parametrizations of pion parton distribution functions

Abstract

Pion distribution functions have been obtained by performing fits to data on

\frac{J}{ψ}

and dimuon production. Simple

Q^{2}

-dependent parametrizations of the results are presented. Some of the implications for high-

p_{T}

phenomenology are discussed.
