Abstract
A system for the study of phonation by high-speed photography is described. The data were extracted from the film by tracing the glottal areas and waveform amplitudes with a pantograph, which entered the data into a computer. The temperature rise produced by the intense illumination required for the photography was found to be moderate and safe. Keywords
