Abstract
Summary The investigation by the authors confirms the existence of great differences in cytological and chemical composition of the synovial fluid in different forms of arthropathy. The authors report on the conditions found in »degenerative joint disease», in rheumatoid arthritis and in »traumatic arthritis». They underline the clinical importance of synovialfluid examinations in cases of accumulation in joint disease.Keywords
