Abstract
The ground state properties of O isotopes have been studied in the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH parameters. Neutron halos in , , and are predicted. The variation of the spin-orbit splitting with the neutron excess for O isotopes is also investigated with both NL-SH and NL1 parameters. Detailed comparison and analysis on the results are given.
