Abstract
A harmonic N=2 superparticle action containing one-dimensional CP 1 σ-model action with the Wess-Zumino term is proposed. Hamiltonian mechanics is formulated and quantized by the use of the Gupta-Bleuler method. The spectrum of quantum states of a harmonic N=2 superparticle is shown to contain N=2 matter hypermultiplets, and also the field strength of the Abelian gauge supermultiplet in the massless case. The existence of gauge and supergravity multiplets in the quantum spectra of harmonic N≥3 superparticles is also discussed. Keywords
