Vacuum Inside the Cow's Teat at End of Machine Milking

Abstract
It is suggested that pressure changes in the test and gland sinuses after milk flow creases reported by D. A. Witzel and J. S. McDonald. J. Dairy Sci., 47:1378. 1964, are more readily explained if it is accepted that both sinuses collapse completely as the last of the milk is extracted. Some supporting evidence is reported.
