Abstract
An isolated parasympathetically-innervated preparation from the chick oesophagus is described. This preparation is essentially similar to mammalian parasympathetically-innervated smooth muscles in its responses to drugs, and because of its simplicity, robustness and cheapness it is recommended for use in student practical classes. Keywords
