Abstract
A case of sebaceous lymphadenoma which was erroneously diagnosed as mucoepidermoid carcinoma is presented. The misdiagnosis led to total parotidectomy and loss of the inferior branch of the facial nerve. The histopathologic picture of this benign but rare lesion of the parotid gland is described again to acquaint more pathologists with this entity.
