Abstract
A rapid micropropagation method was developed for wax currant by culturing on a modified Murashige and Skoog medium containing BA, IBA and GA3. Sterile expiants were pretreated with a BA solution, followed by culture on an initiation medium for four weeks before transfer to a multiplication medium containing GA3. The use of an elongation medium was required to obtain satisfactory shoot elongation to enable transfer to a peat : perlite : sand potting medium. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
