Abstract
Polymeric microcapsules containing methyl parathion have shown increased insecticidal activity as well as longer residual activity against Heliothis zea (Boddie), Anthomontis grandis Boheman,Tetranychus ttrticae Koch, Popllia japonica Newman, and Porthetria dispar (L). In addition, the composition is no more than 1/500 as toxic by skin absorption, and 1/40 to 1/100 as toxic by ingestion than conventional methyl parathion formulations.
