The influence of the freshness of the testes and of desiccation of the testicular tissue on the yield of testicular hormone

Abstract
The freshness of the testes plays an important part in the yield of the hormone. The testicular tissue can be dried after it has been boiled in acetic acid, pH 4.6-4.8, without appreciably decreasing the yield of the hormone. The autolytic ferments are quite destructive at room temp.
