A New Fluorine-Containing Acyl Anion Equivalent

Abstract
A new fluorine-containing acyl anion equivalent, 2,2-difluoro-l-lithioethenyl diethylcarbamate (2), has been prepared and trapped with a number of electrophiles (7 examples) in mostly good yields, on millimole to tenth-mole scales.
