Abstract
The spectrum of Ge II has been remeasured from 600 to 10000 Å. The analysis has led to the calculation of m any very accurate Ritz standards in the vacuum region. The doublet series are less perturbed than in Si II but auto-ionization is more severe. Structures up to 4 s 4 p 4 f have been identified, but they are incomplete. Intersystem lines are frequent.
