Abstract
The spin‐wave resonance spectrum characteristics, namely the mode position, linewidth, and intensity, for a thin homogeneous conducting film with an uniaxial surface anisotropy and an arbitrarily oriented external magnetic field are determined analytically using the spin‐wave approximation. Comparison with the numerical data computed in the “full” model shows good agreement for all spin‐wave modes including the lowest‐order ones. Keywords
