Anharmonic Self-Energy of a Soft Mode

Abstract
Results of the isothermal pressure dependence and isobaric temperature dependence of the transverse optic mode for TlBr are given. These results indicate that the anomalous temperature dependence of this mode arises from strong quartic contributions to the anharmonic self-energy.
