Abstract
A real-time data acquisition and monitoring system was developed for coastal oceanographic parameter measurements. This system continuously measures profiles of temperature, conductivity, current velocity and direction as a function of depth at a number of fixed off-shore locations. The data acquisition, monitoring and control system features make this system generally suitable for unattended area monitoring applications. Keywords
