Abstract
The electric Born model for photoproduction is extended to electroproduction, allowing for different electric form factors for the participating particles. A comparison with recent small-angle and electroproduction data is made. The longitudinal cross section is larger than the transverse cross section, although its predominance is less pronounced than in electroproduction. The model is also used to describe the reaction .
