Mean-square displacement of a vibrating dislocation

Abstract
The thermal vibrations of a dislocation are studied by using the double-time Green function technique. The expression for the mean-square displacement of the dislocation is obtained. The results are used to obtain the root-mean-square displacement of dislocations in f.c.c. metals.Keywords
