Abstract
The kinetic study of the substitution reaction of copper (II) and zinc-EDTA complexes in acetate buffer solutions was carried out with the same procedure as reported previously. The reaction was found to proceed simultaneously through three different reaction paths under the experimental conditions. The rate constants for three elementary reactions of those reaction paths were determined at 15 and 0°C, and the heats of activation and the entropies of activation for the reactions were calculated. Keywords
