Abstract
The 2s2 1Se-2s2p 3Po and 2s2 1Se-2s2p 1Po transitions in O V are calculated using the R-matrix method. Twelve target eigenstates consisting of the size n=2 states with configurations 2s2, 2s2p and 2p2 and the six n=3 states with configurations 2s3s, 2s3p and 2s3d are included in the expansion of the total wavefunction. The resonances converging to the n=3 thresholds increase the 2s2 1Se-2s2p 3Po collision strength by about a factor of two and the 2s2 1Se-2s2p 1Po collision strength by over 10% below these thresholds. Keywords
