Abstract
Summary: The Foss‐Let fat analyser–based on the density measurement of a fat/ tetrachloroethylene extract in a magnetic float cell–has been evaluated on a range of different foods, particularly meat and meat products. It is rapid (6–7 min per determination) and gives results that are reproducible and of acceptable accuracy for quality control work when compared with those obtained by standard methods. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
